Getting better
In the aftermath of heartache's bitter sting,
Two friends appear with comfort they bring.
Their words like gentle rain on parched ground,
Soft whispers of solace in sorrow's surround.
Through the darkest nights and tear-streaked days,
They shine like beacons, guiding my ways.
Their laughter and hugs, a soothing embrace,
Turning my tears into a smile on my face.
They remind me of strength I thought I'd lost,
Of resilience blooming amidst the exhaust.
Together we mend the shards of my heart,
Their friendship a bond that will never depart.
In their presence, I find healing and peace,
A love that's enduring and won't ever cease.
With friends by my side, I rise above strife,
Embracing newfound joy in the journey of life.
