Getaway

Playing on the radio is a song I wrote for you I try to not blank out on my lyrics On your love, I feel oblivious But I know I'm at my destination I'm feeling this love deepen This is the hardest that I've fallen The biggest steps that I've taken If life is a game, then we hacked it Your love is a paradise I feel it's a getaway A getaway Usually I would think twice But our love is intertwined in our DNA On my love for you, I could write a whole essay It's a getaway I keep trying to get a breakup song idea in my head For my friend, we thought this guy was a jerk But all you're doing is making me love again Every look makes me feels special Just a glance brings a smile to my face This is the hardest that I've fallen The biggest steps that I've taken If life is a game, then we hacked it Your love is a paradise I feel it's a getaway A getaway Usually I would think twice I'm trying not to model a cliché Expressing how I feel is not exactly my forte But this feels like a getaway My friend comments that I seem excited to see you Cause I only saved your life, that's all Felt unimaginable, but I knew something was up Ball pass, 80/20, remember that That was my vision when I first saw you This reference makes it obvious as to who I'm rapping about Can't wait to confess my feelings on old town road With hearts stuck in my eyes, and sparkles in yours With twin cowboy hats and zodiac signs This is the hardest that I've fallen The biggest steps that I've taken Your love is a paradise I feel it's a getaway A getaway Usually I would think twice You have me hoping that life will be okay And all because of yesterday I know that this is my getaway And we're ready to fly now
