Get This Done Before You Leave Today

Get This Done Before You Leave Today

By Elton Camp

“Have your analysis on my desk today.
I don’t care how late you have to stay.”
Robert knew if the boss used that tone
You’d better do it right or you are gone

Robert, each item in his report did check
Since he didn’t want his career to wreck
And he created bar and pie charts galore
Such a fine job hadn’t been done before

He worked & revised until nearly midnight
Finally, everything was done up exactly right
Just as he was about to enter the final cost,
Power flashed & the unsaved file was lost

Been there, done it. I can relate to this piece you wrote, all that work done and then gone in a flash. A great piece of creative work.
