Get Rich Or Die Trying

Have you ever fell in love with an album from the first listen? Knew every word from every song like you were the one writing? I was always told I should listen to something different I fell in love from my first listen to Get rich or die trying When I was 10 years old I bought an album I didn't know would impact my life I was Just a kid obsessed with Hip-Hop & this guy who got shot 9 times And survived Taken aback by how much pain, emotion, anger and heart was in it An album I can play from start to finish there was something about this album that spoke to me It worked as a bandage and healed what was broke in me Social workers told me it was inappropriate because of all the swearing Maybe I would have listened if I wasn't abandoned by my parents I began to see how a song could make you feel strong How an artist could help you without knowing you We all go through different stuff, and sometimes you don't need to belong Because there will always be someone who understands what you're going through I was one of the first in my school to have this album by 50 Cent One day I rapped along & off to detention I got sent Inspired by his story, because he made me realize I could survive anything I never thought a stranger could fix your wings The album taught me so many valuable life lessons To this day i'm still asking girls 21 questions you taught me that the most ugliest situations can turn pretty Get rich or die trying, saved me as a kid, so thank you Fifty Have you ever fell in love with an album from the first listen? Knew every word from every song like you were the one writing? I was always told I should listen to something different 15 years later and I'm still in love with Get rich or die trying
