They are all there, the world's leaders
Xi, looking inscrutable, Putin looking fit
leaves the vodka alone.
There is Trump, looking volatile, his face
is not unreadable, but vulgar
They talk about a nuclear tactical weapon
like a weapon able to kill thousands
is tactical
I was in Nagasaki in 1974, where the atom
The bomb killed 74000 people, and that was
a small bomb, I walked around to see if there
were any vestiges of that blast
There was none, the Industrial Japanese
had cleared it all up
Yet, I don't think those three leaders fully
grasp the horror a nuclear war can bring
a war that can bring the end of humanity
But there are rough states like Israel
a small country full of hatred, due to its
history and how Israel came to be a state
The fanatical leaders of Israel might, if
they lose use of the bomb, even if it means
destruction of their own state.
Sooner or later, nuclear arms will be used
possible by a smaller state, and when that
happens, get me out of there
