Get Down On Your Knees

GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES 

When pain slices through you like a knife,
When you feel the brunt of all your strife,
Look up to God, get down on your knees,
He will comfort you, give you release;

When troubles overcome your lifeboat,
When you find it tough to stay afloat,
Look up to God, get down on your knees,
He will let you pass over with ease;

When distress racks you into a wreck,
When it places on your life a check,
Look up to God, get down on your knees,
He will hold you close, your woes will cease.
