Get Back Up

Trapped in a world of pain
Shackles of emotion keeps IT tamed
IT wants so badly to be free
But the people cannot let that be
IT stares into your heart
Makes you quiver in fear
IT dreams of victory, but
no-one can see IT
ITs journey is coming to an end
IT wants to be free
IT sees the light and trembles in defeat
The voices keeps IT strong
But ITs been week all along
On a journey like a roller coaster
IT is not strapped in
On the path to disaster
There's chuckles and laughter
But how can that be
IT sees a way to be free
IT starts to fade away
Everything is turning dark-n-gray
IT is done playing the game
IT never wanted to play
IT is giving up the fight
This seems right
Because no-one will understand
The pain behind the frown
IT sleeps peacefully now
IT is remorseful for letting you down
IT thinks and wonders
"Could IT have turned life around?"
But too late
IT is eight feet ... underground

For those who fall the first time needs to remember to get back up and try again

An amazing message...Its sad when we see our world with dark glasses, at time all we need is just a little push to get a glimpse of sunlight. Love your poem! Charma.
