Geriatric Equalizers

In times of old, the men were kings, and the women were sub servient. It kind of worked, although not fair. What’s interesting is, no one complained to much, Since it was the way of the world, and the way they were brought up to be. Times were simpler, and slower, men were the breadwinners, women, keepers of the nest. But somewhere along the line, no more leave it to beaver episodes, with Ward and June, the model real families emulated. Over history women wanted to vote, and have all other things equal with their male counterparts changing their acceptance of long accepted roles, and long listened to tune. So with the family unit stretched farther then ever before, roles became undefined, woman no longer home, so teamwork now paramount. Age’s of tradition, altered, needing changes to correct, invented, and implemented between the sexes.Signs are undeniable, this dream, is still a work in progress, that’s what vexes. If progress, was made on the home front, lessons there could be carried to every nook and cranny. The young could gain wisdom from their granny. Her Tools and love, learned by the very young, for their coming roles of parents, no lingering emotional voids needed to be filled, when raised by strangers, trying to fit the bill.
