GEORGIA ON MY MIND

Peachy blue skies, perpetually deep
Idyllic sunrays resonant with power
Summer is waning; the sun never sleeps
Pecan pie in the sky - stickiness of flowers

Georgia on my mind. No where else to go
Names and cells, neighbors don’t exchange
The pace is apropos, pandemic is slow
Delta is variant, chameleon of strange
