George

There are times for peace and times for war
When your conscience comes knocking at your door
And you know your Creator is asking for more..
And that's ok.

From our comfortable places we rise and stand
When our neighbours, down trodden, require a hand
When that line needs re-drawing in the sand..
Then that's ok.

For we fight, not each other, no not at all
We simply respond when our hearts hear the call
If we graze our knees as we scale that wall..
Then that's ok.

And brick by brick we dismantle the tower
Of the uncaring, self-interested, lofty and dour.
It may take us years, but one hour by one hour..
That's ok.

We're rebuilding Freedom, Justice and Dignity -
Never taking for granted but share it in unity.
The future may depend on both You and on Me..
Then that's ok.

So protest we will and never say never.
We'll stand and we'll sit whatever the weather
Knowing this: we are strong. But stronger together.

And that's ok.
