Gentle Spirit
Calming is the presence of a spirit so lovely and pure.
As I stand there in silence, I feel her healing cure.
The sadness beckons me to remain in this horrid state.
But her whispering song of gentle kindness will not abate.
The pull of a loss so profound it gathers its awful gloom.
Tears streaked down my face as I cried, alone in my room.
I cannot fathom my life without my cherished loved one.
Seeing her closed casket has shaken my resolve to the bone.
Now the song once again started as a whispering love of life.
I must be going mad with grief to see her soul in beautiful light.
She stands before me with warmth that penetrates my soul.
I calm down as I intently listen to her song that makes you whole.
Ahh the song is a beautiful message of a melody to linger in a trance.
It speaks of living life in the purest form of love that we will joyfully dance.
Our hearts touch as she notes that we are soul mates in the past.
Sharing our amazing love through eternity that will always last.
