Gentle Soul

The more I have
The less I own
Your company I need
Alone

To share 
The troubles of the day 
Hand them to you
To take away 

My heart is full 
Of empty space
The whispering is all
I chase

Although I long
To hold your hand
Your silence fills
My soul so bland

Ethereal
You sit and wait
So patient
As I hesitate 

Examen
With a grateful poise
Extracting much
Internal noise 

Let vapour be enough
For me
A peaceful soul's
Eternity

Although melancholy, listening to your voice seems to slow down my concern for the one who yearns for someone to fill the empty space in his heart.
