Soft light of sunlight mists across the smoky gray Of the blue ridges where colors of emerald pine Surface in the distance, creating a brilliant waltz Of cloudless dreams which signal to my spirit Whispering silence and serenity through the forest Inspiring me to believe in the joy this peace ignites Creating a sense of truth inside which gently soothes Then colors my hopes with hues of dancing lights Beckoning from the sun’s graceful insight into reveries Soon, I will be more than mere mystery to nature I will be the breath of fresh air to the flowers that Captivate my spirit with their tender caress of silence Nurturing the secret visions of those who happen upon Phenomenal joys within the natural world which arrest The sentiments of those who share such sweet pleasure As dewdrops caressing the petal with tranquil liquid That enlivens stem and leaf with a sense of purpose Purity that resembles a rose’s compassionate sigh When I speak to the trees and earth, conversing with The wind and sun, trembling within due to fauna awareness Answers to prayers seem to single me out through Touches from limb and spray, creations from the heavens Sent to us mere mortals on the wings of silent prayers Solitude built with gentle figs and favors from old oaks Soothing rains single me out with feelings of compassion Blended with shades of inspiration that will grow into Heartfelt miracles of character built with natural instincts

Sigh. I can't even imagine 'speaking to Nature.' For you, it's a common event --- although always majestic, uncommonly common, as it were. Wow. ~ Gershon
