One of my best friends who passed away 5 yrs ago was a genius and developed many patents for amazing discoveries...she was never MAD yet she was definitely OVER driven in many ways. Her passion for excellence drove her a lil over the edge. This senryu is great! A stick of dynamite! Gwendolen

and THIS is why I always come back to the Soup Kitchen! Good stuff Buddy! And yes, I was away for a while from my hobby site. BUT I will NEVER take a break from writing. On top of other projects I have written a few dozen new poems...many of which are not soup appropriate...oops! I did put one new one up tonite, and I will do some more. Thanks for checking on me! ~JSLambert

Clever write, Carolyn! I think for some these are can be co-related. Known people who I'd found to be genius, but they felt like social rejects.:( There might be a fine line between both? Success hadn't made them happy campers. Anyhow, best wishes to you and yours, love, Mikki

Just brilliant Carolyn!Sometimes the level of IQ/knowledge of genius people is so high that common men can't reach that level or understand them.So their success is the barometer of gauging their sanity of mind!-kash
