Genius
I march to the beat of a different drummer
I've heard it a million times
They've even called me crazy
Because I color outside the lines
Sometimes, they just call me special
While others might say, unique
Some people say, I'm just old fashioned
Or a dried up, ancient antique
Strange, is another word often used
Or, "He's just looking for attention"
"His elevator don't go all the way up"
Or that I'm stuck in a different dimension
"The lights are on, but nobody's home"
Or, "He's not the sharpest tool in the shed"
"He's not all there, if you know what I mean"
Or, "He must of fell and hit his head"
Now I've been called most everything
But I'll be what I want to be
Somebody once even called me a genius
So what, if that somebody was me
