Genie in the bottle
What a sad way that you live
The only way you know freedom
Is to give and give and give
Genie you must break this curse
Bust out of your cuffs
Believe within your heart
Out there is true love
Know that every wish you grant
Should be yours and yours alone
You shouldn't have to stay anchored
You can rise above
No one should be kept alone
Waiting for their next demand
Shame on the ones who think
They are the ones in command
One day soon you'll break free
A master of your own worth
It only takes a second dear
Then poof you will be gone
