Generous Emotions

If not be love, it be hatred; Let me not feel. If not be kindness, selfishness its name; Let me not share. If not be peace, havoc will I cause; Let me not preach. If not be joy, displeasure takes the throne; Let me not spread. If not be goodness, nothing will surpass my fair line; Let me not perceive. If not be genuineness, it be bias; Let it not come out. If not be sound advice, the ill one will glare; Let me not concept. If not be forgiveness, rebuke it would be; Let me not give. If not be pure, the stench of impurity; Let me not desire. If not be blessings, curses assuredly; Let me not utter. If not be best, worst would be my prayer; Let me not wish. If it be rejoicing, for the right intent be. It’s all times I need a bountiful of generosity. God, wholly instill in me the same. ©GraceM Composition
