Generation Neglect
Attention spans declining
Faces stuck to their pimp phones.
Unsmiling addicts, they've become.
Spreading the infection of indifference.
We've become a generation of neglect
Children are being emotionally orphaned
We'll have little need for vocal cords or tongues.
Just long fingers for tickling keys.
No need to walk or run or have fun.
Everything is brought to our doorstep.
No need for arms or legs.
No need for playgrounds or babysitters
Just a gray room and a keyboard.
