Generation Neglect

Attention spans declining faces stuck to their pimp phones unsmiling addicts they've become spreading the infection "mommy-daddy look what I made" pay attention we've become generation neglect we're orphaning our children if this is a spurt of evolution, we don't need it we'll have no need for vocal chords or tongues just long fingers for tickling keys will be the norm no need to walk or run or have fun everything is brought to our doorstep our legs and arms are shrinking no need for playgrounds they no longer collect children only the memories of laughter and dust.

Fantastic, artistic and brutally true. . This poet is on the same page as you. . This poem stands as total perfection. . And for you, Anthony, gets my full admiration. (this should be a POTD) Best always, Panagiota.

Pretty soon we will be eyes and fingers, nothing else needed. Minds? Doubtful. I like this because of its truth. I hope you wake someone up today.
