Generation Me

I was sitting by a river When trash came floating by Chased by hungry seagulls And pigeons on the fly Plastic caps were littered Along the riverside Among the many corpses Of birds that ate and died Mosquitoes swarmed upon me They drained one pint at least The gnats and flies surround me And take their time to feast The scene became so tragic A tear came to my eye I could not help but wonder Why God failed to make trash fly * * * * ©MMXVII Rico Leffanta

G'day Rico … well noted Rico. There needs to be a shaming site for dumpers, particularly commercial dumpers. Very good observations Rico - Lindsay

According to a French research project, even in Australia it is impossible to sample air quality without finding "at least 356 pieces of <5mm microplastic" which clogs lungs, arteries, stomachs, and absorbs pheromones!" One would think even Donald Trump would be concerned about that!
