Generally Speaking

as i sit looking out of this window
i often sigh for people passing by
some not even noticing me
some do and don't care

do they wonder why i sit here
day after day watching life happen
life is happening every second
as people got on trains off to work

it was quiet and very peaceful
and i thought i'm alone again
i saw no human insight
as i closed my eyes and my mind

when the world came back to life
i heard two birds screaming
just like the jones who weren't home
i saw weeping willow trees kissing goodbye

i saw two squirrels shopping for the winter
when i looked close to the ground
an army of ants were leaving town
the moth at noon if Ms. had noticed a cocoon
