Gems From Captain America
Aware of Captain America's fame
I commend its creator for great aim
Exposing virtues, surpassing grand name
Such as having good character to claim.
Worthy of emulation, though fiction
Captain America’s strong conviction
On what is proper against wrong action
Prevails toward righteousness-propped function.
Along effective leadership terrain
Captain America persists midst pain
Influencing with integrity’s gain
For positive transformation to reign.
Midst endowed heroic tenacity
Captain America’s humanity
Maximized granted opportunity
To fulfill well every task and duty.
With these lessons learned via virtual ways
I praise God, my Creator of truth-brace
Christ, my Captain --- enabling service-grace
Triumphing over pride along faith’s race.*
