G'Day Mate

A friend of mine has just joined the Soup
She's glowing, overwhelmed and delighted
Her screen name is Miss Wattle so you know
Drop by, she'll be over the moon excited

Known her a while, this Australian lass
So talented in so many endeavours
The voice of an angel and a sweetheart to boot
Never known such a talent, not ever

Her heart is warm with Australian charm
Must be something in the water down under
Their love of life is second to none
It's filled with great joy and wonder

If you've never had the joy of knowing an Aussie
Here's your chance, make it a date
Known as Miss Wattle, a very sweet lady
She'll greet you with a “G'day mate!”
