Gazing At the Stars

When I look at the stars, I get butterflies
just thinking how lost I could get
venturing fast, adventuring past, each and every one.
I see stars in your eyes.

Look at you, you queen of fire, you ever so lovely girl.
Call me crazy, enlightened maybe,
but it seems your eyes show something more.
It does occur, boiling inside are demons unseen, a smudge on
my precious pearl.
I see the pain of cutting veins, in the spot your eyes refuse to be explored.
It scares me not, for flames so hot are destined to leave some nasty burns,
I know the pain, of nearly being slain;
It's not in vain to be the cure of your concerns.
