Gazing Alone

On a charred olive-
   branch, a dove gazing alone.
      Gory war wasteland.
         Moist eyes barely holding pain,
            being a sole survivor.

Such a chilling vision, the lone "survivor"; war doesn't discriminate...not at all...it claims everyone and everything that it can. Well penned.

War is hell on earth. Your poem reiterates that in loud vibrations. Well written and so sad Afzal. 7 ; )
