Gay Clown

I am ‘eebygum’ the circus clown
who’s face when working a painted frown,
without suffers stage fright
courage returns each night,
when this queen wears his improvised crown.

G'day Harry … fine limerick Harry. When we were kids we were all addressed as happy and gay. Different meaning in this day and age. Well done Harry - Lindsay

I think you captured what David was looking for...I missed the mark....you wrote about the emotions and character of the performer...An entry that he'll really like for sure...my perspective was too narrow...a great entry, Harry..what a happy clown! Love, Gwendolen
