Gathered

Restless, as leaves without stems, caught on carpets of imaginative wind; are my thoughts that so desperately need to be heard. My daydreams, are multicolored hues of happiness, as warm as fresh rain scented with smiles and laughter. They are where I live. Sleep comes as softly as the first snow and it wraps me in comfort and ministers to my soul, soothes my heart so tenderly and kisses the emotions that are the keys to knowing just who I am. Peace is the beautiful butterfly that is my cherished friend, my faithful Creator, and the soft voice of wisdom that guides my feet through the wind drift leaves that are my choices and decisions; stacked into a carefully raked pile of wonderful experiences and memories; wonderful and colorful as the promises of the rainbow after the summer shower. This is where I am gathered, among the leaves.
