Gate To Yesterday

I Went Through a Massive Gate
It Was Labeled "Yesterday"
I Thought That I Could Change Things
Somehow along the Way

It Wasn't How I Pictured it
I Was All Alone
No One Lived in "Yesterday"
Everything Was Carved in Stone

I Couldn't Change a Thing
I Guess I Should Have Known
Everything I'd Said or Done
Was Written on a Stone

I Went Back Through the Gate
The Exit Said "Today"
That Is Where I'll Have to Start
To Make a Better "Yesterday"

I Woke up from this Dream
With a Different Point of View
Make "Today" the Best You Can
It Will Make a Better You
