Gasp In Awe

Gasp in awe

The dark cloaked arms of a deathly mass
Takes what he wants in the universes task
No yesterdays or tomorrows will ever pass
Time has frozen us in its lights that flash
Then why do dreams in silence and colours last
No equation on earth could measure so fast
The reality is that while we sleep our minds travel so vast
The planets align to show us the true line of a path
The constellations are an ancient perhaps forgotten graph
We need to bring light to our emotions before our last breath gasp
