Garden of Life

Life starts out so simple, like seeds, there's different seasons, weather, and weeds. People always have sides, more than one, A surprise to others... what's done is done. Everyone wishes for the fountain of youth. To each their own a dark side and light, Gotta go with the flow, (yeah I'm talking to you), flow like the river of life. Through life you grow, with the good and bad, like a secret garden with more to add. You are a flower in this garden that blooms and withers, You look at purgatory, heaven, and hell, but it depends on your surroundings for example, the weather. Is it just me or does that ring a bell? The world is like the Garden of Life, No joke... You grow, bloom, and then wither and die.... It's up to you, everything you choose, But you too are dependant on the surroundings and truth. Go with the flow, do what you can, Bloom to be your best,... not just a jealous fan.

I took a look at that painting after I read your comment shirley. It is quite beautiful. It's amazing how my work (without realizing it) can make others think of paintings, beautiful art work, songs, or even can just relate quite well to what I have to say... what's on my mind and my heart. I can only hope that my work can inspire others one day to write, stand up for what they believe or themselves, or to do something that they love to do no matter what anyone else says about it.

good write, I like the comparison to blooms. One of my favorite paintings is by Lilly Martin Spencer 1822-1902, titled We Both Must Fade. It is a picture of a lady in a blue gown holding a pink flower.
