Sunday church garden of lime green blooms, reds and creams- Luxuriousness! Gracefulness and scented smiles greet butterflies in hued styles. Orange, yellows, pinks in the sweet whirlwind of days! Gathered together. To the silence, bluebirds sing in warmth of spring, evergreen.

Thank you for your gladdening remarks, Sara. You guessed rightly that the poem is about people, as well as the garden. Thoughts of the loving hand of the Creator, is naturally evoked by a beautiful garden. Best wishes.

Your poem are an example for others on how to judge the length of a poem to perfection without leaving out the words that are needed to complete the picture, and what a pretty picture you have created with this one. Hugs from David in NZ. PS our identical twin grandsons are now 1 month old.

So beautiful and artistic as always! I love your short poems too as much as your long ones, your use of colors are always well balanced and flows in such eloquence! Beautiful tanka! I can see and hear through your descriptive imagery! Impeccable!

Thank you for your lovely, gracious remarks. God's love and the joy of His creation are a wonderful pair. It brings to mind the words of the song, Morning Has Broken: 'Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden Sprung in completeness where His feet pass.' Have a nice day. :)
