Garden of Earthly Delight
Caught in a garden of earthly delight.
Where time infused rushes through blood and brain,
And destroys all reason of wrong and right.
A portal spinning on its chosen plane.
Turning and turning, there is no way out.
This garden once flowered becomes its own hell.
Lost in fantasies where love is in doubt.
This fragrant garden where petals have fell.
The scent of beauty turns a dung filled pyre.
Though earthly delights can keep lovers close.
Thirsty desire will quench their lonely fire.
Ashes now cold will evoke a pathos.
Needing to be loved, explains away pain.
Makes slaves of lovers, this garden of bane.
