Gandhijee: Father of Our Nation
I found foot print of Gandhijee
In every corner of India that I have seen,
I felt the presence of this sacred soul
In every square every lane, where I have been.
He has been guiding us in every bend,
He has been preaching us not to pretend,
He was as cold as ice and as hard as stone,
He is an inspiration and he is a milestone,
His life is a message to the whole world,
He won every fight without any sword,
Ocean of hopes he brought for the nation,
When night turns day,
I see his daring face in every morning sun.
In every garden he is blooming like flower,
In every river he is flowing like water,
In every forest he is running like deer,
In every sorrow he is falling like tear,
He is our father, he is our God
He is a vivid light to the whole world
He is a lotus in every mud.
