Game of Chess

I treat every thing like it's a game of chess
Always have to be one step ahead to remain the best
Sometime the journey isn't right, but there's always another lane that's left
I'm the king, even if they don't want to name me yet

The more I see people, it's clear they've never been on a chessboard
They belittle the little people, until they see they're more vulnerable with less pawns
Sometimes sacrifice is what they're best for
But most times you need them for your next war

Every piece is important and should be treated the same
if not, you may aswell just start by leaving the game
I always know I need a queen to heal my wings
If you have the right lady, she won't allow them to kill the king

Take your time, you'll lose by trying to make the quickest move
Make sure you think it through before you let the bishop loose
Take your time, always make a move that's best
The king is always safest if you move him less

I keep the story short, because it gets lost if the details are longer
I'm tired of people saying "Man up" when it's clear that females are stronger
If you ever played Chess, you'll know the king needs to be protected by the queen
But both need to be protected by the whole team
