Game of Chance

Eyes meet with a quick glance A fleeting second just by chance Moments frozen as the fire burns World takes a sudden twist and turn Elated by feelings of bliss Unknown attraction that exists Overwhelming desire to meet Into two innocent souls it seeps Forbidden it could not start Would end in a broken heart A deep connection from a mere glance Entwined lives in a game of chance Two ships that passed in the night Fragments of time just not right Caught in the game of chance Now a lost connection in a glance 30/08/15

Hi Phyllis, once in a midnight dream I met a wonderful dream, just like this above. Everything about the game of chance is forbidden and far from any reach. A wonderful poem, in which reminds me of a dear old friend... Sometimes attraction fades quicker than the night.. Enjoyed...
