Gamble It All

Risking our hearts is the reason we are alive, But for those who know there hearts will thrive, Love is always there for the gamble. The walk across the dance floor and it only took a glance, For the woman with the beauty to lock him in her trance. Now the gent with the grin if only he knew, The trouble he was in from the love that was so new. He fought what was clear and what he knows, Fear had hold because of the highs and lows. His wing man wobbles his head, For he needed to realise that he wasn't dead. The night came to and end and was done, And his mate reminded him that he had won. Her intentions were clear, direct like a dart, His femme fatale had captured his heart. At least he knows now the chance on his heart wasn't a gamble at all.
