Galilean Moons
Went into your abyss came out scarred, many moons fly by with the ageing Sun and scorched am I by your wondrous yet fickle heart, remembered fondly would be a start, but not mine to make, these choices fall to your path, your Galilean moons.
Mine still spin ,my roots are strong on the earth, yet the fire calls out your name in the air and I can hear your faint whispers hauntingly calling me...a decade has gone by now and still I hear you call, now I have to cut the cord! Goodbye dear twisted love of the past.
