Galaxies and me

out out there beyond realms of our known
Is a reality that we cannot comprehend,
in deep darkness myriad flickering lights,
each a galaxy, a universe of billion stars.

Who are we in this bewildering creation?
a consciousness seeking meaning to it all,
perceiving what we can with limited senses,
defining boundaries that we can never own.

Is life really life as we know and understand?
or is life beyond the organic mixture that is us?
do stars and planets have a life of their own,
that can think and function like we all do?

there are vibrations that pass between orbits,
that recordings show are like communications,
the precision of moment, the entire complexity,
must have a system that keeps them astir!

Divinity- a word designed to answer this mystery,
power that goes beyond our minuscule wisdom,
in that word lies answers to much that is unknown,
we seek through prayers where science goes blank.

the wisdom of being is to be and to be with all,
understand that we are part of the galaxies,
we are the Sun, stars, nebulas, black holes,
we live on in them, even after we perish.

I am a galaxy, I am the universe and all there is,
when I flicker to a stop, in their fire I am.
