Galactic Soup

Galactic Soup
The strings flailed
Gathered in the mist
A universe unveiled
To what had slipped
Into the darkness
An unknown abyss
Sucked like a black hole
Where timelines were missed
Endless time warped
Like a void
Into the everything
Man had never known
Plights on the skyline
Staring in the face of time
Like a machine
Stuck on rewind
From the days of once was
Where it ever was
As it keeps coming back
till
We hit the final miss
Standing on the edge
Like a shim
In parallel
Standing in the darkness
Waiting
For the sun
To rise again

Nicely composed poem on an apparently complex theme ... Liked it ...
