Gain Knowledge

I am but a child
in this study of life
seeking the answer
of why we have life

at time's I am wrong
with my study and guess
I look to find answers
and only find trash

yet sometimes I hit
on the right problem solve
sometimes I find
a solution of gold

Yes I am christian
I beleive in our christ
but do not feel proud
of the way they lead life

one day at a church
does not forgive sin
we can not kill people
and then hope to win

Instead we should walk
With Gods bonds of love
prove that we're worthy
teach peace and sweet love

Our ministers turn
the people away
hurting young children
is not then Gods way

to gain the respect
the church needs to learn
respect is not given
It has to be earned

each day that we walk
with god at our side
we have to gain knowledge
With wisdom we climb

to over come problems
that face all man-kind
with science against us
destroying our faith

we need to build wisdom
to rebuild Gods grace
with wisdom we study
our own building blocks

Destroy what is wrong
in our thinking and blocks
am I then always
the center of truth

Perhaps there is darkness
in my thinking too
perhaps there is light
in the sky's made of blue

perhaps if we look
at each thinking man
we can find a prenumbra
of dackness and gray

sometimes they are right
in the things that they say
sometimes the are wrong
it as simply that way

make up your mind
no timid mud grass
don't be a sheep
that is following jack

study the theories
both sides of the line
please keep an open
and questioning mind

perhaps we'll examine
and studying hard
the truth we will cleave
from the mystery card
