Gaia's Nursery
A tiny seed stretches through the soil
to feel Sol's energetic bliss;
Gaia nurtures her children as roots
drink deeply of her umbilical's gifts.
Iris petals gently unfurl into
radiant beauties, as they eagerly
wave good morning to the budding trees;
a nearby creek bursts into a trickling song.
Narcissus competes with the tulips,
as it dreams of reaching greater heights;
a cascade of color plays across newly
birthing fields with chromatic elation.
