Future Illusions

Birth is the start of a life in chains We’re led to believe our parents hold the reins It seems the world is just an illusion You and me both, we are no exclusion To be truly free, you must believe you can see Humans don’t realise there’s more to the picture, instead they move a piece, boom they’ve just hit ya’ Once you realise life is not a game You learn to sing and dance in the rain This illusionary world that we keep on living in, step out of the chains and just start forgiving If you want to give future generations protection Really look in the mirror at your own reflection.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
