Funny Man

My nick names, Funny Skunky
Some people think my jokes stink
Yet I'm clever like a monkey
You'll laugh before you blink

You'll try not to laugh
At my silly jokes
Yet at your funny bone
I take my poke
Resistance is futile
Will power goes up in smoke

I stand on the stage
With my blurry eyes
A combination of witty
Stupid and wise
A drink in my hand
A white striped shirt
On the outside I laugh 
When inside I hurt

From club to club
Wanting my big break
You think I look calm 
Yet inside I shake

So listen to my banter
As I turn a clever phrase
I live to be funny
I crave attention and praise
