The funny thing about love is
In order to receive it
You have to hurt someone to get it in return
Isn't it funny how you give your heart away
And you give it your all,
But you don't receive that same love
The funny thing about love
Is another can come into the picture
And hurt you, break your heart
Into a million pieces
But you give that person love, love, love
Do I have to treat you the same
To get the love that you claim?
