Mrs. White was the quintessential teacher and scholar she had taught us humanities, english, social studies, and music her funeral was the largest our small Iowa town had ever seen for she was beloved, respected, and approved by our children

I truly believe that most communities have a Mrs. White. As I look over the places I have lived, there is always one teacher who stood out and was dearly loved.

Mrs. Kay aka Mrs. White became my mother-in-law.
