Stars or Fireflies Fibonacci Poetry Contest

2nd place in the contest

- Funeral of Fireflies -

As
stars
flashing.
Fluttering
across dewy grass.
Outstanding mesmerizing glow.

In melancholy, my eyes drawn into the circle ...
they are called to dance in their search for a bride/groom, stitched together with gold strands of hope.

If fireflies could sing it would be magical - a declaration of love, crafted with the same delicacy as a romantic poem.

I'll stay awhile and enjoy the view, take a deep breath understand that the days are numbered, as life wisdom or philosophical acceptance - with joy, dignity, calmness, solemnity pride, honor, and self-esteem ... beauty.

Dear Anne-Lise, this is just a soulful and mesmerizing poem! 😍🩷 How brilliantly you've layered the imagery and that too, with the essence that lives in the aura of fireflies.. also, love that bride and groom line, adds a very special touch to the Fibonacci! The way you've made this flow and every line feels heartfelt.. "If fireflies could sing it would be magical - a declaration of love" wow ~ ,🥹 I've never seen fireflies but this one made me feel as if they were fluttering with their golden glow in front of my eyes! Congratulations on your beautiful placement in my contest, keep shininnn and writinnn 🧚🌙✨💫
