Fumed

There was an elderly fellow from Dopp
whose steady gas-passing he couldn't stop.
The odor was terrible
totally unbearable
so alone he lived as a popping fop.

alone in his house full of stink he did nothing all day but drink, he'd fart in his sleep, the smell made him weep, he smelled like the missing link

Ha, ha, ha--Wonderful, Daniel. I think you should be in charge of the Air Pollution Department of Soup.

no wonder he lived alone lol - Seeing your comment about saurkraut made me smile - my father used to make it in a keg - I can still recall the smell to this day from the food and the after effects from eating it lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Homemade sauerkraut: I can smell it now--freshly made and later, and later, and later. Thanks for bringing back a memory, Jan. hugs x x x

Thank you, Cheryl. I'm happy you enjoyed it. Fumigation was something he should certainly have considered, together with a change in diet. Personally, I think he ate too much sauerkraut.
