Full Moon Over Neponsit
Swirling back
In time
To a wine-intoxicated evening
I was seventeen
She was fourteen
We embraced under the moon
The moonlight lit up her face- her grey-green eyes
How many of you readers remember similar evenings?
Time races by
But
A
Few
Monemnts linger
deep in memory
deep in the heart
a full moon
illuminates
the lovers on
the rough sand
time seems irrelevant-moonlight lets us see
