Fruitcake

Fruit laden circle cake
  filled with nuts and jellies
    full of flavor and spice
       fantastic with eggnog
    frequently requested
  for family and friends
fine finish by the fire.

Dear Laura, a clever fruitcake Pleiades poem. I never liked fruitcake, always thought it was a waste of good cake and nuts, with all of that candied fruit. However, a little rum made it somewhat more palatable! Now I cannot have fruits, skins, or nuts, I will have a slice of chocolate cake please. Loved the poem my friend. Betty
