Constance, I have never had one frosted and to me, that sounded so scrumptious, and now seeing your picture. YUM. You chose the right one to do!! Congrats on your win with this descriptive write. I loved the brandy part!!

It's funny how these cakes can last a long time in a tin. They can be very good if one has the right experience of tasting things.
