FRUIT & CREAM

Strawberries & Cream
red luscious
memories of childhood
eating wild strawberries
among the wild flowers
enjoying every bite
nature's own.

Blueberries & Cream
that time I took
the last blueberries
Uncle George was furious
he said he'd bought them
just for him!

Peaches & Cream
Peach cobler
vanilla icecream
sitting in a restaurant
with Grampa
happy, talking....

Bananas & Cream
Not my favorite
it doesn't taste much like
bananas at all
maybe more like bubble gum
but at least you can
swallow it.
